Good E-books in Dynamic meteorology and remote sensing....

Hi Eduardo.

I am also respectful in my reply. However, the fact that there is a
valid need does not justify the taking of someone else's intellectual
property. And, I'm sorry, but I don't understand in what sense this
is a private email. This is a listserv that is public, to my
knowledge, and not intended for the illegal distribution of
copyrighted works.

Perhaps something could be done to approach the authors and ask for a
copy as we do with papers but distributing someone else's work is a
misuse of the Internet and leads to legislation that interferes with
the free exchange of ideas and communication between colleagues. The
short-term needs, as real as they are, can have long-term negative
consequences.

Cheers.

First, I apologize to what I am about to say:

In many countries we are in need to get the books and softwares in
that way (free downloaded) because we really do not have enough
support to buy them at the cost they actually are.

Likewise, the information was spread within a private email link I
think, so, only people within the field, and who are in need, could be
get benefit from it....

Of course things should be different, but they have been established
like this...I respect copyrights and many times what is legal is not
fair when money is little.

I beg your pardon, this is my rude opinion and sad experience.

Sincerely,

Eduardo.

I agree with Alan. I haven't downloaded them to see if they are
copyrighted but if they are, this is definitely inappropriate and
illegal. If you are using US Govt-funded computing resources to
download these, that is also an inappropriate use of those resources.

Cheers.

Aren't these books copyrighted? How can you provide them for free? Did
the publishers and authors give you permission?

Dear Grads Users,
Here is the link for some very good e-books in the field of
Dynamic meteorology and remote sensing. If you want you can download
them also. Also you can find some good e-books on Linux OS and shell
scripting. Kindly have a look on them.
