[gradsusr] 're' error syntax not found

Hello,
Recently, I installed grads 2.2.0 using Linux Ubuntu WSL (Windows Subsytem
for Linux)
I use re syntax
'define ETo=re(ETo,0.05,0.05)'
and I got
Syntax Error:  Invalid Operand
  're' not a variable or function name
  Error ocurred at column 1
DEFINE error:  Invalid expression.

What should be done to fix this issue?
