Hi,
Unidata’s Rosetta software might be worth exploring …

The only possible thing I could think of is to use the ncgen command, part of the nco software package. You'd have to use special syntax to get it correct. Probably the best way to go is to use Fortran to write the text data to a binary file, which doesn't require any special libraries. There are help pages in the GrADS user's guide that provide instructions on this.
Good luck.

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your response. I have also searched ways to convert text files to netCDF but could not able to figured out. Do you know the way of converting text file to any of those format? Please help me if you know.
Thank you.

I don't think GrADS is capable of reading in text and converting it to a map that you can then display. You'd have to convert the text data to some file format that grads can read, such as binary, GRIB(2), netCDF, or HDF first, then read that file in.

Hello,
I have data in the following format. Can anyone please tell me how can I write it out using grads so that I can plot it in time series as well as in spatial domain?
