[gradsusr] Coordinates of pole for polar stereographic GRIB

I tried that and it placed the grid with a 180 longitude change but it is still showing in the northern hemisphere. Initially I thought that might be due to using the OPTION yrev but removing that from the .ctl did nothing. Attached is my description file.
Thank you for the quick response.

Joey,
Try changing the orientation angle to 0 or 360 and see if that helps.
Grib2ctl/g2ctl uses adds a 180 degrees to the orientation angle in order
to get NCEP southern polar stereographic files to plot. Files from
other centers may be different.

I am having trouble determining the ipole and jpole parameters for PDEF in the description file for a southern polar stereographic preprojected GRIB file. I’ve tried several calculations that have failed, placing what should be a grid over New Zealand over Europe instead. Below is what is returned with the wgrib utility. Any help in how to find the ipole and jpole coordinates would be much appreciated.
