Hi guys,

 

2 feature requests that would be really handy in GRADS would be the ability
to change the Alpha for the KML files that are generated with the -poly
option.  At the moment the files generated are at 100% opacity which is not
very useful for overlaying onto Google maps.  Google KML files have their
colours defined as AARRGGBB where AA = Alpha (from 00 to FF).  Doing a
search and replace of the generated KML with a PHP script for <color>ff to
<color>77 for example will do it for now, but would be great to be able to
do it from GRADS itself.

 

The 2nd request is with maskout - It would be awesome if the boxy results
produced by maskout could be smoothed using csmooth - it just looks really
strange when having smooth filled contours and then a jagged edge around it
from using maskout.
