[gradsusr] NARR Dataset - Precipitation

Brian,
I'm not sure why you get undefined values for those downloaded variables, but you may consider as an alternative accessing the NARR directly with sdfopen.

For example:
ga> sdfopen http://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov:80/dods/NCEP_NARR_DAILY/201207/20120715/narr-a_221_20120715_0000_000
