T., please, send me this fnl_20081112_00_00_c.ctl file.

What Windows version are you using?

I suppose you are not using cygwin. In what window are you running gribmap?

I have a question; the source fnl file has a size of 23 MB, but after converting it to a ctl and !an idx file, each of them has a size of just seven kb, is it correct and acceptable? I think maybe the converting process has not been done correctly.
