Dear Ricardo and Jeniffer, I have fnl file with the name of fnl_20081112_00_00_c, I run the gribmap and in the command line I wrote: gribmap -i fnl_20081112_00_00_c.ctl but the command window was closed after this command. I also repeated it with -v but the window was closed again. Regards, T.

I have a question; the source fnl file has a size of 23 MB, but after converting it to a ctl and an idx file, each of them has a size of just seven kb, is it correct and acceptable? I think maybe the converting process has not been done correctly.
