[gradsusr] How to template filenames with processing time ?

[Shen, Suhung (GSFC-610.2)[GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY]]

Dear All,

I have files named like:

DeepBlue-SeaWiFS-1.0_L3_19980101_v003-20111127T191013Z.h5
DeepBlue-SeaWiFS-1.0_L3_19980102_v003-20111127T191024Z.h5

where string 20111127T191013Z and 20111127T191024Z are the data processing time, that are kind of random.

If I rename files by removing the processing time, I could templating files like:
DSET  ^DeepBlue-SeaWiFS-1.0_L3_%y4%m2%d2_v003.h5

Is there anyway to template original files without renaming them?
