[gradsusr] problem with grads installation

Version 1.9 is so old and not being actively supported anymore. It looks like the X11 interface may be the problem since GrADS started up but dumped core when it tried to intialize the graphics. Try using the most recent version instead. Please see http://iges.org/grads/downloads.html .
