[gradsusr] problem with grads installation

Dear users,

I'm trying to install the older version 1.9 of GrADs on REDHAT-6  (64-bit machine). When I unzip the pre-compiled version (grads-1.9b4-linuxRH7.1.tar.gz) and tried to execute form the GrADs bin directory I get the following error:

> path/bin$ ./gradsnc

Issue 'q config' command for more information.

Landscape mode? (no for portrait):

Segmentation fault (core dumped)


Please suggest me the solution because I'm new to GrADs. It would be useful if you could guide with the installation steps including how to set the paths. Please note that my system is 64-bit machine.
