[gradsusr] concatenate variables into one variable

Hello,

I have the following question. In three separate files I have a variable x. Is there a way in GrADS that I can concatenate the variables into one variable? I need this variable x as one variable to derive a diurnal average of this variable. From the documentation I have seen that you can do this with sdfwrite, but this is a time-consuming workaround. There must be an easier way :-)

I have come to the following statements already so that you have a feeling how the data is spread over the files.

'set t 1 163'
'define temp1=x.1'

'set t 150 165'
'define temp2=x.2'

'set t 166 721'
'define temp3=x.3'

Kind regards,
