[gradsusr] Monthly Time series

Hi all,

I have a WRF output for 1 year with 1457 time steps ( 6 hourly rainfall)

Since this is accumulated, I usually do,

Var(t+1)-Var(t+0) to get the daily values.

Question:

Is there an easy way to calculate the monthly totals by subtracting by each months so that I can draw an annual  time series ..

How do I modify the script??
