[gradsusr] Reading grib1 output from GFS

Hi everyone,

I want to read grib1 output format from global GFS data. I use grib2ctl.pl
and gribmap to do the control file that allows me to read the data but i
can't get the global map projection i want because the .ctl output only
shows me one region in particular.

I know it's something about the PDEF definition but i don't know how to
work that out.  I found a reference page
(http://grads.iges.org/grads/gadoc/pdef.html) but i don't know where to
edit the .ctl file.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
