Hi,

I am using MERRA datasets for make a climatology (MERRA Hourly data)
When I use the command: define
prec=ave(prectot,time=00Z01JAN1999,time=23Z31JAN1999) , the command line
show this error:

gancgrid error: nc_get_vara_double failed; Unknown error 1001
Data Request Error:  Error for variable 'prectot'
Error from AVE:  Error getting grids
Operation Error:  Error from ave function
  Error ocurred at column 1
DEFINE error:  Invalid expression.

Someone can esplain this error?
