Isotachs in GrADS

If you have u and v wind components in your binary files, then all you need
to do is type "d mag(u,v)" (assuming u and v are the names of your zonal and
meridional wind components). Make sure gxout is set to contour or shaded.
You can simply plot isotachs for just one or the other of the wind
components by just typing in "d u" or "d v" also. Hope this helps.
