writing grib2 to NetCDF

Dear Zilore --
wgrib and grib2ctl are not designed for use with GRIB2. Try wgrib2 and
g2ctl instead. Alternatively, you can use the output from grib2scan (a
utility in the GrADS distribution) that will tell you the grib2 codes
that are required for a GrADS descriptor file. If the data are on a
thinned grid, you'll definitely need g2ctl to create the pdef file for
you. You should be able to read this file with GrADS in its native
format.
