any code to generate grads and ctl file from ASCII data?

Hi grads users,

I have the sounding data in ASCII format with pressure,temp,dewpt,speed and
direction. How could I generate a grid data and control file for this data
set in order to use Bob Harts (http://www.ems.psu.edu/~hart/skew.html)  grads
script to make the skew-t plot?

 If any of you have any FORTRAN or C code to do such conversions of ASCII
files, could you please share it with me?
