clarity of pictures in GrADS

Dear GrADS Users,
   I have drawn some picture using GrADS from my model output.
After doing this picture I tried to save with 'postscript' format.
But when I saw the picture with with GSVIEW, the shaded picture clarity is not good and some white lines appearing on all picture.
  Please sugget me how to avoid this white lines on the GrADS picture.
  Generraly which format is good to save the GrADS picture i.e. which 
picture format is good for any journal publication after drawn in GrADS.
