Grib2 data question

Hello all.
I just joined the list, and looked through the Archive for the past couple weeks and didnt see what I was looking for.  If it's been brought up in the past, I appologize, but could someone point me in the right direction.

I am currently using pcGrADS, and am wondering if there is any update in the works for using grib2 data?
I know I can convert the grib2 files to flt files using the degrib program, but i've found that i'm going to have a large number of ctl files if I do that.
Right now I have 100+ .gs scripts that are all run at one time using a batch file that opens the ctl file and each grib file.  Does anyone know what the best way is to use grib2 data in pcGrADS?
