3D rendering

Dear Randy,
Grads can't display a 3D view of a field. You may want to contact
grads developers to see if it is going to be available in version 2.0.
In the mean time you can try Vis5D, its a pretty old software but
it works very well. You can even do a 3D animation and slice it
in an arbitrary x/y/z direction.

The tar ball comes with an example of how to convert
grads/binary to vis5d+/binary format. It is not completely
read for use but you can figure it out. I have added some
extra options to my personal version of this converter.
