Plotting GRIB with different mapping resolutions

Is there a way to plot GRIB data with different spatial resolutions on the
same plot?  I'm trying to make a composite 6-10 day composite US temperature
plot from GFS operational data.  Days 6-7.5 are high resolution (1 degree x
1 degree grid) and days 7.5-10 are lower resolution (2.5 degree x 2.5
degree).

Any help would be appreciated.
