looking for New Meteogram.gs (using new parameter from nomad3.ncep.noaa.gov)

You can set up aliases for GDS variable names easily with an xdfopen
descriptor file. Something like this:

dset http://nomad3.ncep.noaa.gov:9090/dods/gfs/rotating/gfs_00z
vars 1
pressfc=>ps   0   99    surface pressure
endvars

Just add whatever variables you need for the meteogram to the above
descriptor, then use 'xdfopen <filename>'  instead of 'sdfopen
<GDS_URL>' and you're good to go!
