[gradsusr] Building for GRIB2 on Apple silicon

libpng15 is not support on arm64 architecture and for some reason it is
required for grib2 support?

checking grib2.h usability... yes
checking grib2.h presence... yes
checking for grib2.h... yes
checking for main in -lgrib2c... yes
checking for main in -lpng15... no

Can the dependency be swapped to libpng16. Also, a bit confused why libpng
is required for grib2 support.
