[gradsusr] Error reported in the g2clib library installation

Did you install this version of jasper which has jpeg2000?
ftp://cola.gmu.edu/grads/Supplibs/2.2/src/jasper-1.900.1-14ubuntu3.2.debian.tar.gz


If you don’t want to bother with jpeg2000, then edit the makefile in the g2clib source code and change 
this
DEFS=-DUSE_JPEG2000 -DUSE_PNG
to this
DEFS=-DUSE_PNG
