[gradsusr] Archived ncep gfs model rainfall data

Andrew,
Thank you for your response. I dont think this could be the problem
because I tried to change the http: to https: but a still failing to
get hold of the data.
My thinking is that may be the whole site has change and I don't know to where?

I have been told that I can access the data as grib2 but the problem
is that I am having is that I am using windows and I am having
problems installing wgrib on my computer.

I really wanted to use dods which myself dont understand much about it.
Hope someone will be in a position to assist me here.
