Hi, Kathryn —
I am not able to duplicate this problem. he script fragment you have shown doesn’t include any ’say’ commands, so what exactly are you trying to get it to return?

Hi GRADS peeps ... Anyone know a work around for this?
in my script I have the lines
'query ll2xy 'lon1' 'lat1
locs=sublin(result,1)
rloc=subwrd(locs,1)
If I have a GRADS window open and call my script it returns the correct xy location corresponding to the lon and lat.
If I call the script in batch mode it simply returns the lon and lat that I entered.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks!
