[gradsusr] String Element

[CW Weather]

Hi All,  

I was just wondering if it is possible to create a background for a
string element, for example I have used the full screen for my data but
still want to show the valid time and date for the data. Is it possible
to create a white background for a string? Image attached show the
string in the top left.....
