Hi Mehwish,

If you want the spatial correlation between two fields, then it is correct that the output will be just one value.

Yes, in addition to having one value as scorr, i also want to visualize the
spread on this spatial correlation on my study area (as some location will
be highly correlated and vice versa). So, i want to evaluate the model's
performance at sub-domain level.

Is there any way to obtain it?

Hi Mehwish,

You could calculate the spatial correlation over different subdomains (see scorr example in the GrADS documentation). Then, you could plot the values of each subdomain. Note that the subdomain scorr values will be on a much coarser grid than your underlying data - there will be one value of scorr over each subdomain region, which I imagine could contain hundreds of gridcells.
