Hi Anubhav,
You can plot significance using the GrADS pattern filling feature to hatch areas that are above a significance threshold: http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/gadoc/gradcomdsettile.html
Unfortunately I don’t do significance calculations within GrADS. Here are some GrADS significance scripts I found from the University of Wisconsin that may be helpful: http://nelson.wisc.edu/ccr/resources/grads/significance-scripts.php
The RMSE output of ltrend.gs may also be useful. Perhaps there are other scripts in the community?
