[gradsusr] linear trend with significance

Dear GrADS users,
I have to plot the spatial distribution of linear trend of a variable say
precipitation but along with significance of that trend in some way for
e.g. with dots or hatching in the same plot. I can plot the trend but how
to calculate the significance. can you share any script or help me in this
matter?
