[gradsusr] Maximum level number with zdef...levels in a ctl file

Dear GrADS Users,

I'd like to know which is the maximum level number
that can be written in a ctl file with the option zdef...levels.

I.e. 
ZDEF   92 LEVELS  1017 1007  997  987  977.... works correctly

but 

ZDEF  918 LEVELS  1017 1016 1015 1014 1013....doesn't work.

The problem is that zdef record may not have more than 255 characters?
