[gradsusr] Drawing Shape Files

I'm having trouble drawing shapefiles. I can do it on my Windows cygwin
version, but not my linux version.
I'm using draw shp with no error, but also no results. Tried several
different shape files.

Is there a way to troubleshoot if it's installed and configured correctly?
