Hi Stuart,

      Try downloading and unpacking (e.g., to some "www.shapefiles" dir):

cd /home/prog/graphics.grads/lib/www.shapefiles
wget 'http://biogeo.ucdavis.edu/data/world/countries_shp.zip'
unzip countries_shp.zip

      and then including in scripts something like:

"set shpopts 15" ; "set line 15"
"draw shp /home/prog/graphics.grads/lib/www.shapefiles/countries"
"set line 1 1 4"
