[gradsusr] mask country by shpfile

Dear grads users, 

I am using TRMM_3B42 daily v7 data for my study. I want to get area average rainfall value for Nepal using country shpfile. Further I want to display only Nepal by using mask-out function. While I am trying to use GDAL and GrADS, following error has been is occurs. I would appreciate your suggestions.  
  
Data Request Warning:  Request is completely outside file limits
  Entire grid contents are set to missing data 
  Grid limits of file:     X = 1 1440  Y = 1 400  Z = 1 1  T = 1 1  E = 1 1 
  Grid limits of request:  X = 320 361  Y = 300 329  Z = 1 1  T = -313919 -313919  E = 1 1 
  Warning issued for variable = r
Define memory allocation size = 10080 bytes
