[gradsusr] Accessing latitude/Longitude MERRA data

hi,I am working on MERRA data in Matlab.I am intereted in plotting the data for specified co-ordinates.Has somebody got an idea of how to extract specific location data (based on latitude/Longitude)?
Your help regarding this problem will be highly appreciated.
