It is a satellite project in Grads by
'set mproj sat 0 65'.
The map always in lon 0 to 360 and -90 to 90
but your data lon/lat may be limited to 0~20; 20~40 or the whole world.
This is new function I develped for the grads I hope it can be integrated into the publice grads soft someday.

Subject: [gradsusr] satellite projection in GrADS

Dear grads users,

I found this image posted here a while back. Does anyone know what map projection this is, and what other parameters need to be specified in order to produce it? It looks like a satellite view of the earth centered over a particular latitude and longitude, but it's not at all clear from the grads documentation how to specify the center point.

Best regards,
