Hey Tom,

I'm using grads 2.1 now. (I was using grads 2.0.2 before.)
Here's my script:

ga-> open rhsa.aso.ctl

Scanning description file:  rhsa.aso.ctl
Data file rhsa.aso is open as file 1
LON set to -179.375 104.375
LAT set to -89.375 89.375
LEV set to 1000 1000
Time values set: 1979:1:1:0 1979:1:1:0
E set to 1 1

ga-> set gxout shaded
ga-> d rh
ga-> run cbarn

After run the basemap script, I get the following picture as a result.
