[gradsusr] Plot study area

Hi all,
I would like to know whether it is possible to plot our study aea using
grads like gmt?
I am studying 3 regions in indian ocean and they are overlapping too so i
would like to plot the area by rectangular boxes in  different colour/..
which topographiccc data we have to use for that. from where i will get the
data. Please help me..
