[gradsusr] Can GrADS read .wld and .png files?

Hi,

Can GrADS read .wld and .png files such as at the following site?

http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/archive/data/2015/12/01/GIS/uscomp/

If so, do you have a sample .ctl file that you use to read such files?
