[gradsusr] Variable code for scripts.

Hi Guys,

I am relatively new to Grads but have managed to create GFS charts with 
the limited variables I have such as precip & temps, however, I am keen 
on producing more but I cant find any information on the variable 'code' 
in the scripts, for example in the precipitation script the code is 
'apcpsfc'. Is there a downloadable list for a range of variables and if 
so, where may I download it from.
