David,

Where did these two runscripts come from?  How did you make them?  Is 
there an xml file?  Did you use frerun?  At GFDL, frerun + xml file 
makes the job runscript, and the job runscript launches post-processing 
also, depending on how the xml file is configured.  I don't understand 
why your model runscript doesn't do this as well.  There is also a frepp 
utility that can be used with the xml file after a run completes to make 
a post-processing jobscript to do the regridding.  It seems you have a 
different system in place to run the model, and based on this, I would 
advise contacting your modeling services department for further help 
with this issue.
