[gradsusr] no discernable X coordinate

Hi Anca,

One option is for you to specify directly the longtidue gridpoints using the XDEF LEVELS option:
http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/descriptorfile.html#XDEF

However, you may also be able to use some scripts by Jennifer Adams for CMIP5 output:
See this posting from the listserve: http://gradsusr.org/pipermail/gradsusr/2013-January/017089.html

Here’s more information about pre-projected data in GrADS:
http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/pdef.html

I have used ncdump -v Lon nameofthefile but,as you can see in the file attached, the values are overwhelming(and the data is on many pages long;what you have in the file is only a snapshot)... What does it means? How should I write the X coordinate in the descriptor file? I have to say that I use data from CMIP5, rcp85 for sst.
