[gradsusr] Get MAX value from every group of 6 values from data - Grads

Hello Everyone,

 

I have asked this question earlier, but no help on it. May be asked at off
hours.

 

I have Ocean current data (.nc file) downloaded from NOAA site and below is
NCdump of data. Data is packed in for grid of size X*Y  4320*2160 points.  I
want to calculate the MAX value from every group of  6 values from data.
Simply, if I make group of every 6 values, I want to get max value from
every group.

Lon....0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,.......
............4319

Lat...0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23...2159

 

How can I get it working in grads.??? Any help please.
