[gradsusr] Question about theta prime

The output variable is probably not what you think it is. In WRF a base
temperature value (usually t0=290) is set, and the full theta field is
based on a perturbation from that value. So what you are really looking at
when you look at that variable is the distance the potential temperature is
from 290 K (unless you set it otherwise, but 290 is the default value I
think). For example, if theta prime = 50, then the potential temperature
at that location is 340 K. You would then use the pressure value to
compute the actual temperature.
