Hi, Jen.
Not to put a too-fine a point on it, but would this be akin to expanding, say, "defval," so that it can be expanded in all four directions (x,y,z,t)?

After the graphics stuff is done, we will begin implementing what we are now casually calling 'defop' -- operations on defined objects. The general idea is that you carve out a space in memory, and populate it with data or with results of operations on data, and those operations can be done by built-in or external functions. It won't be exactly like UDFs were in the old days, it'll be more much more flexible.
