[gradsusr] Normalized anomalies

 Hi. 

How does one calculate normalized anomalies. I am using the HADiSST data, i have the anomalies, but i want to compare my results with another piece of literature where they have used normalized anomalies. If you even know how to do this on cdo please let me know. Thanks a lot
