[gradsusr] making NetCDF

Hello Reza. I have done something similar. This is not very elegant but I
found that the simplest thing to do is the following:

1. Use a word processing programme e.g. MS Word to 'Replace All'
spaces with a ';'. Then 'Replace All' ';;;;;;' with a ';' etc until you only
have single semi-colons. The save as .text.

2. Open*.txt in MS excel. Save as *.csv.

3. Open in matlab. Manipulate data as required. Save as *.mat.

4. Use 'ncwrite' to create NetCDF. If you have a matric followingthese
instructions:
http://www.mathworks.co.uk/support/solutions/en/data/1-A0WLUC/?product=SL
<http://www.mathworks.co.uk/support/solutions/en/data/1-A0WLUC/?product=SL&s
olution=1-A0WLUC> &solution=1-A0WLUC

5. Open in GRADS using xdfopen. You will have to create a control file
(*.dat file) - see Grads help under 'xdfopen' on how to do this.

Cheers,

HD
