[gradsusr] extracting data in grads

i am beginner in grads
 i want to extract data from binary file for each parameter, in my binary
file it has 5 parameter only like u,v,w
now i wanted to plat mag(u,v) in which 'u' and 'v' should come from
different extracted parameter files.
please reply soon i will be very thankful to you.
