[gradsusr] DODS - Opendap server errors?

I have been getting an unusual error with the nomads server ... nc_get_vara
... I assume an opendap
Function. 
Scripts that I run will work ... then fail with the nc_get_vara coming up in
the cmd window. I am using the
Latest Opengrads on Windows machine ... although I don't think that's
implicated.

The error is periodic which suggests server or perhaps internet connection.

Any Ideas?
